Job Overview
This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive, friendly and kind specialist team offering Autism and ADHD assessments to children age 5 - 17 years 9 months in Buckinghamshire. The team has developed a neuro‑affirmative approach that places the family at the centre of our processes.
Responsibilities
To support and be supported by the team to carry out neurodevelopmental assessments alongside a multi‑agency team consisting of occupational therapists, psychologists, paediatricians, nurses and a social worker.
* Conduct neurodevelopmental assessments
* Contribute to team and service development
* Take part in MDT meetings to consider diagnosis alongside understanding of other presenting issues
* Work in the wider structure of CAHMS to identify further support and carry out any other relevant referrals
* Keep accurate, up‑to‑date records on RIO
* Complete diagnostic reports and letters to a high standard, written to the child using strengths‑based language that can be understood by the child
