What you'll need to bring
* Complete on-the-job training and induction (generally 4-6 weeks) to achieve full competency.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety, including risk assessments.
* Undertake mandatory Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) Standards.
* Complete NHS Lanarkshire's compulsory training.
* Complete NHSS Portering Services Workbook.
* Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to perform tasks effectively in a busy environment.
* Basic knowledge of information technology.
Please note: a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is required where applicable.

Part Time - 22 hours per week (pro-rata salary)
Location and Working Pattern
Based in the Portering department at University Hospital Monklands.
Roster over 7 days, all shifts.
Applicants may be considered for similar roles in other locations.
