KS2 Classroom TA – PR8 (Southport) – SEN Experience Essential**
Teaching Personnel are recruiting a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in PR8. You’ll support pupils across Upper or Lower KS2 with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum tasks.
Although the role is general classroom-based, there will be elements of SEN support, including pupils with ASC traits, ADHD, speech & language needs, or mild SEMH. Familiarity with SEN strategies is essential.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting KS2 pupils in lessons
* Assisting with interventions and small groups
* Providing structured SEN support where required
* Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour
* Encouraging engagement and independence
Pay:
£13.75–£14.50 per hour
Requirements:
* School-based TA experience
* Good awareness of SEN needs
* Confident supporting KS2 pupils
