An exciting opportunity to lead as Clinical Manager for our crisis pathway across the Acute and Urgent Care Service Line.
The portfolio includes Psychiatric Liaison services at Kingston, St Helier, and St Georges Hospitals, Home Treatment Teams across Kingston, Richmond, Sutton, Merton, and Wandsworth, as well as The Lotus Assessment Suite (Psychiatric Decision Unit, Health Based Place of Safety). Street Triage Services & Coral Mental Health Crisis Hub (MH Crisis Line, Rapid Assessment Clinic) are also part of the crisis pathway and are currently undergoing service transformation.
You will join a recently established, energized, and collaborative leadership team in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You will be supported by 3 Clinical Service Leads at band 8a, our HTT ACD, and the wider senior leadership team. This role offers a significant opportunity to impact the service line and the wider Adult Patient Journey (APJ).
Ideal candidates will have more than 2 years of experience at band 8a or currently be working at band 8b within the Trust.
You will receive excellent support and supervision. The role combines professional leadership and clinical management, jointly accountable to the Head of Service and Head of Nursing. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality services, performance management, and providing visible leadership to your team.
We seek an individual with a proven track record of delivery, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to inspire and engage staff, external partners, and patients. The post involves representing the portfolio in forums such as governance and business meetings and working with external partners.
