Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective of the role is to provide MEPF support to the Client's CM team, the GC, and the MEPF subcontractors on the client’s new region builds. This involves interfacing with the GC/Client & MEPF Contractors / Clients CM / Clients DE / Clients Security / Client & MEP Consultants / Clients Cx / Local authorities and others as needed.
Reporting to the MEP Department Manager Europe, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Review IFC design for issues and improvements, and explore local alternatives with better lead times.
2. Assess design change directives for impact on MEP works and schedule implications.
3. Provide technical support to MEPF contractors on systems, clarifying client expectations and installation practices.
4. Assist in generating and reviewing shop drawings before submission.
5. Evaluate alternative proposals from MEPF contractors for client acceptance before submission.
6. Track and support approval of shop drawings and technical submittals.
7. Develop and maintain a shop drawing tracker for MEPF contractors.
8. Monitor procurement processes to ensure timely ordering of materials and equipment.
9. Create and maintain a procurement tracker.
10. Provide insights into MEPF works to prioritize client activities.
11. Coordinate MEPF work sequences on behalf of the GC.
12. Monitor and report daily MEPF progress, manpower, and equipment deployment.
13. Review progress against resources and forecast future resource needs.
14. Advise on long lead equipment handling, installation, and commissioning.
15. Ensure equipment for installation and testing is secured in advance.
16. Review installation quality to minimize reworks.
17. Communicate client standards and expectations to MEPF teams.
18. Assist in closing out comments and nonconformance reports.
19. Develop ITPs, inspection notices, and commissioning plans with contractors and commissioning manager.
20. Guide MEPF contractors on installation and site coordination.
21. Review and approve deviations from design/shop drawings.
22. Coordinate with LLE vendors for equipment delivery, installation, and testing.
23. Verify site requirements and ensure GC compliance prior to LLE equipment arrival.
24. Review progress reports to verify schedule adherence.
25. Oversee commissioning activities for MEPF contractors and interface with client Cx team for higher-level commissioning.
26. Support GC in managing MEPF contractors through to PFHO.
Strong time management, communication skills, computer literacy, and report writing are essential for this role.
