Rushcliffe Spencer Academy is a highly successful 11-18 comprehensive school located in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Rushcliffe has been judged outstanding in all areas by Ofsted and, in 2021, was reaccredited as a World Class School for the second time.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Science Technician, conversant in all three sciences to join our specialist technician team providing support to our outstanding science department.
The successful candidate will aspire to be part of a forward-looking team focused on supporting exciting and engaging learning experiences for students across the 11-19 age range. Experience of working in a laboratory setting and /or in an educational institution would be a distinct advantage.

Role and Responsibilities
The role involves supporting the science department by providing practical and administrative assistance. Responsibilities include assisting in laboratories, preparing materials for science lessons, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe working practices within the science labs.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience of working in a laboratory setting and/or in an educational institution is advantageous. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team and support a high-quality learning environment for students aged 11-19.
