Project Controls Engineer
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Controls Engineer to join a well known Tier1 Contractor working on Hinckley Pont C.
The company is a well know Tier 1 contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. As Project Controls Engineer you will be joining the planning team working on numerous projects which include Civils and M&E aspects of the project. As a Project Controls Engineer be joining an existing team and will support planning, scheduling cost control, progress measurement and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities for this Project Controls Engineer role:
1. Develop and implement a project controls function across the project to assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks as well as implement company policies for risk engagement.
2. Ensuring projects have a robust and consistent process and procedures.
3. Schedule, Costs Management of change, risk management and reporting
4. You will lead the development and production of periodic reports and collaborate with project teams, reviewing performance.
5. Develop & maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) using P6 covering design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning
6. Establish and manage baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS)
7. Critical path analysis, float management and schedule risk analysis.

12. Stakeholder Coordination & Governance
Key requirements for Project Controls Engineer Role:
13. 5-12 years of experience in a Project Management or Project Controls within large, complex infrastructure or construction projects.
14. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
15. Excellent communication and project management skills including and managing technical teams
16. Proficient in EVM processes and its application on construction projects
17. Working towards RICS/CICES chartership
18. Knowledge of NEC contracts and major infrastructure projects
19. Primavera P6
20. MS Project, Advanced MS Excel
21. Cost control systems and EVM
22. Reporting tools (Power BI/Primavera Analytics preferred)
Day rate offered for this Project Controls Engineer role:
• Around £480-£530 per day Inside IR35
