Job Duties:
The Behaviour Management Specialist will be responsible for implementing strategies to support disengaged students in managing their behaviour effectively. This includes providing one-on-one support, developing behaviour management plans, and working closely with teachers and parents to create a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant Undergraduate Degree in Education or a related field is required for this role.
Experience:
Previous experience working with disengaged students and implementing behaviour management strategies is essential for this position.
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging situations. They must also be able to effectively de-escalate confrontations and create a supportive and inclusive environment for students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Any additional qualifications or certifications related to behaviour management and working with vulnerable students would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This role will involve working in a school setting, interacting with students, teachers, and parents on a daily basis. The Behaviour Management Specialist may need to handle challenging behaviour and should be prepared to provide support and guidance to students in need.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
