A well-established and growing metal fabrication and welding company is seeking a skilled and experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II Inspector to join their team. As an NDT Level II Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and quality of fabricated components through a range of inspection techniques. You'll work closely with fabrication and welding teams to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance, contributing directly to the delivery of high-spec projects across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
Perform NDT inspections using visual weld inspection, radiographic testing (x-ray), and dye penetrant testing (PFD).
Interpret test results to assess weld quality and structural integrity.
Ensure all inspections meet industry standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
Maintain accurate inspection records and produce detailed reports.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Stay up to date with the latest NDT technologies and best practices.
Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Requirement
Certified to EN4179/NAS410 standards in relevant NDT methods (Level II or higher preferred).
Proven experience in NDT inspection within the welding and fabrication industry.
Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
