Role and Responsibilities:
1. Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality lessons using various approaches to enhance teaching and learning.
2. Monitor student progress, maintain records including assessment outcomes and targets, in line with academy policy.
3. Contribute to safeguarding and promote the welfare and personal care of children and young people.
4. Ensure continuity, progression, and cohesiveness in all teaching activities.
5. Set homework regularly to consolidate and extend learning, encouraging student responsibility.
6. Track student achievement against targets and take appropriate actions.
7. Be a role model through personal presentation and professional conduct.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
* Teaching certification or relevant qualifications.
* Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary or higher education levels.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
