Role: Logistics Administrator
Hours: Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm)
Location: Abingdon
This is an admin role at the heart of the operation, keeping jobs logged, queries resolved and freight moving. It’s suited to someone with experience in transport or logistics who is confident working with drivers, depots and customers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Handling collections, deliveries and bookings on the pallet network system
* Working directly with drivers, depots and customers to solve problems
* Supporting morning and evening driver despatch
* Managing claims, discrepancies and invoice queries
* Printing labels/barcodes and keeping records accurate
* Coordinating with warehouse/storage teams on inbound/outbound pallets
* Covering colleagues as needed to keep the office running smoothly
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience in transport or logistics; confident working with drivers, depots and customers in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable dealing with drivers and industrial operations
* Good IT skills (MS Office; experience with TMS systems is a plus)
* Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach
* Local geographical knowledge of Oxfordshire/road networks
