Care Assistant 4/6hrs PW £13 hr in LS23
We are seeking a dedicated personal assistant for a bubbly and inquisitive seven year old girl who lives in the LS23 area.
She is autistic and requires someone to build a positive and trusting relationship with while providing one‑to‑one support.
The role involves helping her safely access appropriate activities in the local community. The person must be vigilant as she has a low sense of danger and must support individuals with challenging behaviours.
Candidate should have a good nature, be patient, and have experience with people on the autistic spectrum. Enjoy being outside and engaging in activities. Preferably dog friendly though not mandatory.
We are a diverse household and encourage inclusive candidates from diverse backgrounds. She particularly enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming, water‑play, beaches and pools. She loves animals and is very active.
The role focuses on developing her integration, interaction, communication, life and social skills. Pay is £13 per hour plus activity expenses.
Location: full UK driving licence and own transport essential with relevant insurance needed.
Hours: 4 hours per week during term time and 6 hours per week in holidays. Potential for overtime.
