Location: Bracknell
Pay: £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday and £24.00 per hour for Weekends!
Hours: 05:45 - 15:45 (1-hour unpaid break)
About the Role:
We're looking for reliable and hardworking Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a well-established waste management company in Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who enjoy being part of a team and contributing to the local community through essential refuse collection services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on designated routes
* Working alongside loaders to carry out collections
* Ensuring timely and safe disposal of waste
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Following all health & safety procedures
* Providing excellent service to the public and local authorities
* Assisting with minor vehicle maintenance if required
* Supporting depot operations when needed
Requirements:
* Valid CPC, Tacho Card, and Full Driving Licence (Category C)
* Previous refuse driving experience is preferred but not essential
* Strong awareness of health & safety and road regulations
* Good timekeeping and reliability
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Physically fit and able to assist with loading when required
