What you’ll be doing
The Graduate Trading Analyst Programme aims to equip you with extensive knowledge of the commodities derivatives markets. Developed by experts across the business, our training provides all the tools needed to kickstart your trading career.
To support your growth at Dare, we’ll provide a personalized performance plan to help you succeed as a trader. The first year as a Dare Graduate Trading Analyst will be exciting, fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding. You'll immerse yourself in energy trading, working alongside market leaders in an environment that encourages excellence. This programme is ideal for those eager to accelerate their careers.
Your key responsibilities on the trading desk will include:
1. Assisting senior traders with administrative duties, including uploading, recording, and executing trades.
2. Attending and contributing to team meetings to enhance your market knowledge relevant to your desk.
3. Developing modelling tools for market analysis.
4. Analyzing opportunities, producing research, and conducting market analysis to aid trading activities.
You’ll have
Strong communication skills, especially when conveying complex ideas.
The ability to work under high pressure.
A demonstrable interest in trading.
A commitment to working extended hours.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Autonomy and initiative.
Ability to understand and manage unfamiliar processes from start to finish.
Motivation and drive to develop a career in global markets.
A bachelor's degree or higher.
Desirable
Excel VBA skills.
Relevant internship experience in trading or related environments.
