Office Angels are recruiting for a temporary (possible perm) Workplace Manager for an amazing AI company based near Euston

Our client, a leading organisation in the tech industry, is on the lookout for a proactive and energetic Workplace Manager for their London office.

This is an exciting opportunity to create a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming office atmosphere that reflects our values and enhances employee engagement!

* Start date: Wednesday 13th May
* Ongoing possible perm
* Free food and snacks everyday! Caters come in and cook amazing street food for you to eat free of charge.
* Must be dog friendly - colleagues bring their dogs to work
* Monday to Friday - fully office based - option to finish at 3pm on a Friday
* Hourly rate: £18.00 per hour plus holiday pay


What You'll Do

As the Workplace Manager, you'll be at the heart of our clients operations, ensuring that the London office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Own the Experience: Manage the day-to-day running of the London office while enhancing the overall workplace experience.
* Create a Welcoming Environment: Develop and maintain a high-quality office space that is inviting and functional for all employees and visitors.
* Be the Go-To Person: Act as the primary point of contact for all workplace, facilities, and office-related needs.
* Build Relationships: Forge strong connections with building management and external vendors to ensure seamless operations.
* Improve Processes: Establish and enhance office standards, processes, and ways of working to maximise efficiency.
* Keep Everything Running: Ensure the office is well-stocked, maintained, and operating smoothly at all times.
* Lead Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding and in-office experience for new hires and guests.
* Drive Engagement: Initiate workplace initiatives that promote employee engagement and foster a positive culture.
* Organize Events: Lead social events and cross-functional activities to bring the team together.
* Health & Safety Champion: Own Health & Safety and Fire Risk Management to maintain a safe work environment.
* Innovate: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the workplace experience.


What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is tech-savvy, organised, and passionate about creating an exceptional workplace.

Here's what you need to succeed:

* Experience: 3 years in workplace or office management or similar roles.
* Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Workplace, Notion, and Slack.
* Onsite Presence: Ability to work from our London office 5 days per week
* People Skills: Approachable and confident in a front-facing role.
* Detail-Oriented: Highly organised with excellent multitasking abilities and high standards.
* Strong Communicator: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Adaptability: Willingness to take on a diverse range of responsibilities.
* Proactive Attitude: A solutions-oriented self-starter who takes ownership of tasks.
* Logistics Management: Comfortable handling workplace logistics, deliveries, and facilities requests.
* Event Planning: Experience organising office events and employee engagement activities.
