At Targeted Provision, we are on a mission to enhance the educational experience for children facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
We are seeking dedicated SEN/SEND tutors who are eager to engage with at-risk and vulnerable learners in Berkshire. If you’re a qualified teacher looking to provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner, this role is for you!

Your Role as an SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support young learners referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible and holistic tutoring that is trauma-informed and tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver each tutoring session effectively.
* Create holistic and engaging learning experiences that advance educational and social-emotional development.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work through a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No set amount of work or expenses coverage is offered.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
