Main purpose: To work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical psychology and neuropsychology input within the neurobehavioural model for service users with acquired brain injury. You will liaise with professionals, family members, and service users, engage in research, and advise colleagues as appropriate.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide specialist psychological/neuropsychological assessments for adults with acquired brain injury, utilizing various sources including tests, self-report scales, observations, and interviews.
* Coordinate service users' care as a keyworker/clinical lead in collaboration with your supervisor.
* Develop and implement intervention plans based on evidence-based practices to support neurorehabilitation.
* Engage with service users to elicit personal goals and translate these into SMART objectives.
* Deliver psychological therapies and rehabilitation interventions tailored to individual needs, employing various modalities and evaluating outcomes.
* Contribute psychological expertise to multidisciplinary formulations and intervention plans, overseeing implementation as needed.
Requirements:
* Degree in Psychology accepted by BPS for GBR or equivalent.
* Registered with HCPC.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation concerning the service user group.
