Responsibilities
1. Design andmunicate solution architectures, helping support global delivery teams in the design and development of integrated reusable solutions
2. Produce architecture designs that adhere to standard, strategies and practices (including security)
3. Present design proposals to and gain agreement from the global architecture review board
4. Maintain and support core platform frameworks and guardrails ensuring changes and modifications support the global business and remainpatible with existing integrations
5. Consider organisation process and service changes in addition to technology solutions
6. Balance solutions using time and cost as factors whilst identifying and mitigating technical risks
7. Engage with a variety of stakeholders at varying levels to ensure that all aspects of the solution are fully considered and agreed
8. Work on multiple projects at various stages of delivery
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
9. Capable of creating apelling and accurate design that considers all stakeholders
10. Experience understanding and interpreting business processes finding the right technology fit
11. Experience in building good relationships across the technology team and within the wider business
12. Ability to identify, escalate and manage risks, issues and actions
13. Driven to update your skills, awareness and understanding of developments in the widermercial world and capable of bringing relevant ideas to the table
14. Awareness and knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, C4, UML, SysML
15. A keen interest in technology and emerging trends
16. Knowledge of and experience in using Object Orientated Analysis and Design and the Unified Modelling Language
17. Experience of working within a software delivery lifecycle as part of multiple project teams
18. Experience in the financial sector preferred but not essential
19. Knowledge of/experience in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
20. Awareness of IT Data Security standards
21. Experience in SQL Server and high level database design
22. Knowledge of/experience in enterprise development technologies and tools
