Connect Appointments have a new exciting opportunity for a reliable and experienced individual to become a Hygiene Operative with our Ingliston based client.
Working as a Hygiene Operative:
* Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
* 12.30 per hour - paid weekly
* Overtime paid at 18.45 per hour
Your role as a Hygiene Operative is to ensure the environment is safe and clean to prevent a negative impact on quality standards. As such your duties will include:
* Clean all floors, walls and machinery on a rotational basis or as required - this will at times require working in confined spaces and at heights.
* Clean all spillages as and when required.
* Proactively respond to any incidents or environmental concerns which could negatively impact health and safety and quality standards - notifying management of any concerns.
* Complete daily paperwork; liaising with other areas to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Undertake any reasonable tasks as required and directed by management.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have strong experience within a similar role. Combined with:
* Experience of working to strict procedures and compliance requirements.
* Forklift license is advantageous but not required.
* Previous experience in confined spaces is advantageous but not required - full training is provided.
