Overall Purpose
Responsible for managing a portfolio of clients while leading and supporting a team to deliver accurate, timely financial information. The role involves developing strong working relationships with both clients and colleagues, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the firm.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Managing an allocation and the workflow of team members, providing relevant support.
* Reviewing work produced and providing team developmet and training.
* Responsible for prepartion of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLP's and Ltd Companies.
* Preperation of VAT returns, bookkeeping, management accounts.
* Responsible for compiling statutory accounts and managing monthly accounts
* Liasing with clients, acting as main point of client contact for enquiries.
* Support with corporate and personal tax issues and dealing with HMRC.
* Running Audit assignments (where applicable).
* Such other duties as may reasonably fall within the scope of the job and/or which may be assigned occasionally.
Person specification
* ACA / ACCA qualification (or studying towards)
* 4 or more years expereince in accountancy practice
* Experience with Xero / Quickbooks / SAGE software
* Knowledge of VAT
