4on 4 off 12hr shifts (1 week of & 1 week of)
Role Purpose
Coordination of all functions required, enabling the safe, on-time departure of aircraft within their scheduled turnaround times in accordance with the Ground Operations Manual or other airlines Ground Handling Manuals. To be part of a dynamic team in daily operations, responsible for ensuring the airline products are delivered consistently and in line with service level standards set for both on-time and station performance.
The Role
* Responsible for a safe, secure & correct aircraft arrival/departure from its parking stand to push back, overseeing safety on the ramp area involving all staff and third parties.
* Deliver high standards of On-Time Performance (OTP) and ensure company turnaround timelines are met in compliance with the Time Precision Scale.
* Comply with directives set by both DFT & CAA.
* Coordinate the safe and timely delivery of all services to the aircraft at the request of crew or engineers.
* Ensure FOD check completion before aircraft arrival and activate guidance systems if safe to do so (if applicable).
* Foster relationships between staff, airport, and service providers to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Ensure airline products are delivered to standards and on time.
* Assist with disruption management and communicate aircraft status.
* Understand delay coding and communicate delays to Load Control.
* Oversee operations and load control, including load sheet preparation.
* Read and sign latest SOPs and memos.
* Maintain a presentable appearance.
* Perform ramp duties when not dispatching.
