Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for KS2 Learning Support Assistant to start full-time in September. We are working with an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ school based in Stoke-on-Trent. The school aim to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils are able to reach their full potential.
This is a great opportunity for a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new role or a recent graduate who is considering a career in education.
About the role:
* Start-date: September
* Ongoing/long-term role
* Opportunity to earn £90-£95 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide tailored intervention for students who require additional learning support. This may include 1-1 or small group support with Reading, English and Maths. Additionally, you will provide social and emotional support for students with SEN; working closely with the Class Teacher to adapt the curriculum and resources to suit individual needs.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with primary-aged pupils is essential
* Good knowledge of behavioural and current teaching techniques
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff
* A genuine passion for working with young people
* Safeguarding training (can be done upon registering with Teaching Personnel)
* Enhanced Child Only DBS (can be done upon registering with Teaching Personnel)
