Main duties of the job
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible, under direction of the NHS 111 Dental Clinical Manager, for managing the day to day operations of the 111 Wessex Dental Advisory Service. Within this role you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently monitoring performance, adhering to Trust policy, ensuring compliance with standard
operating procedures, and the delivery of an excellent patient experience in a fast paced environment.In addition to operational duties, you will be responsible for managing a non-clinical team, which includes undertaking PDRs, supporting sickness management, providing feedback and
coaching whilst proactively developing staff. You will be responsible for motivating, engaging and supporting the team to deliver a high-quality patient focused service at all times.

South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of emergency, urgent care and non-emergency healthcare services, along with commercial logistics services.
The Trust delivers most of these services to the populations of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire as well as non-emergency patient transport services in Surrey and Sussex.

Requirements for the job:
Have previous experience of team management or performance management
Demonstratable call centre experience
Adaptable to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Have excellent IT skills, able to use computerised systems to track performance,
gather and interpret data.
Good knowledge of GDPR and audit process’
Geographical knowledge of the operational area
Excellent customer service skills
Superb communication skills and a professional manner
Ability to work collegiately and undertake tasks autonomously
You must have the ability to work a range of 6 hour allocated shifts covering the service delivery hours, 365 days a year, including unsocial hours. The post holder will be required to undertake any statutory training and development relevant to the role through the use of an annual Personal Development Plan. Any training and development required as part of the role and ongoing development will be agreed with
the post holder.

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
* Demonstrable experience in Customer Services or Team Leading
* Good standard of education i.e. 4 GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent qualifications.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
* Demonstrable experience of team leading
* Experience of using a computerized system
* Experience of working in a customer focused environment
Desirable criteria
* Previous NHS experience.
* Experience of working rotating shifts.
* Previous experience of patient care
