Hugo Technology operates in the healthcare sector, offering a comprehensive service specialising in maintaining, calibrating and repairing medical equipment to Original Equipment Manufacturer’s specifications. Based in Bromsgrove, Hugo offers a national service both through its local workshops and a network of employed field service engineers and has turnover of approximately £6m. Hugo is owned by Asker Healthcare Group, a leading player in the European Healthcare market supplying products and services across a wide range of countries and markets. The Asker group has 4,000 employees in 17 countries and revenues amounting to SEK 15 billion. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of our business operations. This role is essential to ensuring that our processes run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to coordinate workflows, provide data, and provide administrative support. The Operations Coordinator will assist with daily operational tasks, help coordinate between teams and customers, provide support to the Operations Manager, and contribute to maintaining an efficient workflow that supports excellent service delivery. Key Responsibilities * Support the Operations Manager with daily administrative tasks and coordination of activities * Maintain accurate records and documentation across various systems * Track and create project timelines, schedules, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion * Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to facilitate timely execution of tasks * Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation for internal use * Assist in identifying process improvements and streamlining operations * Coordinate meetings and facilitate communication across teams * Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing queries and resolving operational issues promptly and professionally * Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on projects and service timelines * Track and report on key performance indicators and operational metrics * Identify and escalate operational issues or delays to relevant team members * Provide regular feedback to the Operations Manager on operational challenges, process improvements, and * team performance * Support training team members as needed Experience and Qualifications * Proven experience in an operations support, coordination, or relevant administrative role * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for managing data, reporting, and tracking tasks * Experience working in a B2B environment, ideally within the service delivery industry * Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems and potentially project management tools * Experienced in managing multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment * Relevant qualifications or training in operations, business administration, or related fields are a plus Key Personal attributes Highly organised and detail-oriented A proactive self-starter — a true “doer” who takes initiative and gets things done Adaptable and calm under pressure, with the flexibility to handle changing priorities Strong interpersonal skills; works well with others and builds positive working relationships Customer-focused with a professional, solution-oriented approach Reliable, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality work Clear and confident communicator who listens well and shares information effectively Always looking for ways to improve processes and contribute to team success Why Join Us?
