Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and ensuring efficient business processes. This role requires a strong understanding of profit loss management and continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Duties
* Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
* Utilise a Warehouse Management System to track inventory levels and optimise storage solutions.
* Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to streamline transportation management systems.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational workflows and reduce costs.
* Monitor profit loss metrics to ensure financial targets are met.
* Train and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and other relevant software.
Requirements
* Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, as well as warehouse operations.
* Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems.
* Experience with third-party logistics is highly desirable.
* Excellent understanding of business processes related to warehousing and distribution.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess profit loss statements effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within a warehouse setting.
* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
