A leading construction business is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Design Manager to oversee and manage a team of designers and detailers for a project in London. With a strong focus on self-delivery, the business manages complex projects, often involving bespoke structural and temporary steelwork solutions. The Structural Steel Design Manager will lead the design and detailing of structural steelwork packages delivered directly by the business. This hands-on leadership role requires a deep understanding of connection design, steel fabrication, and practical buildability. The successful candidate will bring experience from a Tier 2 contractor or specialist subcontractor environment and be confident managing internal design processes while liaising with site, fabrication, and delivery teams.
