Role
A contractopportunity has become available for a Lithographic Pre Press Operator/MacOperator to join their current friendly, dynamic and hard-working team. Thisposition will enable the right individual to gain experience within one of theUK’s leading Print organisations.
They have a 3 monthcontract and a 1 month contract available to cover their busy period inSeptember (possible extension through to November).
Hours
11am – 7pm AND 12pm –8pm.
Responsibilities
1. Pre-flight checking using ‘Pitstop’
2. Resizing files
3. Checking artwork
4. Adding ‘bleed’ work being produced
5. Updating the in-house database system
6. Ensuring that work is completed, meeting scheduled deadlines
7. Any other duties deemed within your capabilities/skill set
Experience/Skillsrequired
8. Experience as a Pre-press Operator is desired
9. Knowledge of Kodak Prinergy be beneficial (willingness to learn)
10. 1 years’ experience using Adobe Creative Suite
11. Proficient in Adobe InDesign
12. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
13. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
14. Proficient in Impositions beneficial (planning of booklets and brochures)
15. Ability to work unsupervised
16. Good communication skills
