Role Description:
" Bachelor's degree in technology with working experience in Unix
1. Must be RedHat Certified and ITII Foundation certified.
2. Working experience Over 6 years in fats paced UNIX environment.
3. Excellent communication and articulation skill
4. Ability to drive interaction with senior stakeholder.
5. Comfortable to work in APAC/EMEA and weekend
6. Unix Administration and troubleshooting skills, clear concepts Of L VM, user Management & Operating system
7. Troubleshooting on filesystem & user access related issues.
8. Deep understanding Of UNIX OS & Troubleshooting on various UNIX OS Issue
9. Knowledge Of automation, Chef, powerbroker technologies
10. AWS / cloud knowledge would be added advantage
11. Experience in Remote troubleshooting and diagnosis of UNIX issues
12. Work with vendors like Linux & Oracle in coordinating hardware/software issues
13. Understanding and troubleshooting experience of Veritas volume manger and Veritas cluster
14. Basic Tivoli Storage Manager Client administration & able to trouble shoot backup failures & remediate the same.
15. Good understanding of Network Connectivity and protocols with respect to the UNIX platform
16. Exposure on ticketing tools like Service Now
17. Understanding & experience working on DNS, FTP & NFS.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualification
18. Engineering graduate with 6-8 years of experience in supporting enterprise Unix
19. RedHat Linux and IT Il. foundation certified.
20. Excellent knowledge of Veritas volume manager, Veritas cluster and VVR
21. Knowledge on AIX/Cloud"
