HR Assistant (Scottish Forestry)

Scottish Forestry is the Scottish Government agency responsible for forestry policy, support, and regulation. With around 240 colleagues across Scotland, we’re committed to supporting sustainable forestry and the people behind it.
We’re looking for a proactive and organisedHR Assistantto join our People Team. This new role is central to delivering smooth, efficient recruitment and onboarding experiences. You’ll work closely with hiring managers to coordinate campaigns, post job adverts, and guide them through our resourcing policies.
You’ll also lead on onboarding, ensuring pre-employment checks are completed accurately and on time. Beyond recruitment, you’ll support the wider HR team—managing our shared mailbox, updating our intranet, scheduling meetings, and helping us improve our reporting on staffing and resourcing.
