Support Worker – Home-Based Care for Disabled Lady

This role is to support a Woman. The candidate should be a woman*.
Drivers licence required.
Hours per week
* Monday 6-8 pm
* Friday 6:30 am -9 am and 6-8 pm
* Every other weekend
Hourly pay rate
Rate of pay £20 per hour, self-employment basis.
Responsibilities
* Providing personal care with dignity and sensitivity
* Safe manual handling and use of ceiling hoist
* Meal preparation and support with feeding if required
* Assisting with medication (prompting or administering, as appropriate)
* Light domestic duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
* Offering companionship and respectful support throughout the day
Working hours
* Monday PM 6-8
* Friday AM 6:30-9 and PM 6-8
* Every other weekend
* Flexibility to help cover staff holidays is essential
* PM calls may vary in start time
Essential requirements
* Experience in care or a genuine passion for supporting others
* Comfortable with manual handling and using equipment such as a ceiling hoist
This is a self employed position, applicant must have DBS, own insurance and will be required to provide PPE.
