Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Elevate Supply are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in West Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in SEN support who is seeking a long-term role, with the potential for a permanent position.
Position Overview
* Job Title: Secondary SEN Tutor
* Location: West Manchester
* Day Rate: £95 - £110 per day dependant on experience
* Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications And Skills
* Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Experience working with secondary school students with SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated understanding of SEN principles and best practises
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions for secondary school students with SEN
* Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
