The team is expanding as they move from R&D into system deployment, and this role will play a key part in delivering practical, build-ready electrical designs for clean energy technology. Electrical Design Engineer Permanent, Full-time £ Competitive Excellent Benefits Cranleigh (On-site) Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities: Producing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts using SolidWorks Electrical Designing both new systems and modifications to existing equipment Supporting prototype build, wiring and fault-finding during integration and commissioning Specifying components such as inverters, power supplies and protection devices Collaborating with mechanical and systems engineers to ensure seamless product integration Electrical Design Engineer Requirements: Proven experience in electrical design engineering Proficient with SolidWorks Electrical or similar CAD tools for panel/schematic design Comfortable working hands-on in a workshop/build environment Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and components Degree / HNC / BEng (electrical discipline) Desirable: Oil & Gas / hazardous area or ATEX exposure Experience troubleshooting live systems and supporting on-site builds Knowledge of power electronics (inverters, supplies, drives) If you are a practical and ambitious engineer looking to help deliver real-world clean energy systems, apply or reach out directly
