The Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 8 Teacher to join this school in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team and make a real difference to the lives of autistic students. Responsibilities will include:•Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils in Year 8. • Differentiating teaching strategies to support a wide range of learning styles and abilities.• Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.• Creating a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.• Monitoring and assessing student progress and working with parents/carers to support development.• Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and whole-school events. What we are looking for:• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.• Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply.• Experience of working with children with autism or other SEND is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided.• A teacher who is organised, engaging, adaptable and able to work collaboratively within a committed team.• A genuine passion for supporting children with autism to achieve their full potential.
