Overview
A warm and proactive nanny is sought for a busy, welcoming family home in Shropshire. This is a hands‑on role for someone confident, organised and naturally intuitive, who thrives on creating a calm, well‑run household. You will take an active role in shaping the weekly routine alongside mum, ensuring everything flows smoothly.
Responsibilities
* Monday will be your preparation day – managing family food shopping, meal prep, laundry and ironing – setting the tone for the week ahead.
* You’ll confidently coordinate the children’s schedules, including swimming and dance classes, while anticipating needs such as packing bags, organising nursery items and keeping daily routines seamless.
* Support the family’s passion for raising kind, confident and expressive children by nurturing creativity, empathy and strong communication, while supporting consistent boundaries and positive behaviour.
Schedule
* Monday: 7:30am – 7pm
* Tuesday: 3pm – 7pm
* Wednesday: 7:30am – 11:30am
* Thursday: 3pm – 7pm
* Opportunity for overtime such as overnights, proxy parenting and babysitting. The parent’s hope for their family to grow in the future gives more opportunity for additional hours.

Location of the job: Wem, Shropshire
Ages of children: 2 & 3 years old
Pets in the home: 2 dogs – no specific care required but a dog‑friendly nanny is essential.
Driving required: Own car essential.
Job Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum experience Level for this job: Experience in multiple nanny roles.
* For all roles with children and the vulnerable you must have an up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service, a 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of 2 professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters. One of your references must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable.
* We also recommend that you have appropriate professional insurance (nanny insurance).
Pay & Benefits
Pay: £18,330 gross per annum
Benefits: Holiday travel with family internationally
