The Role

1. Test and repair printed circuit board assemblies to component level.
2. Identify through testing the root cause components related to the fault.
3. Soldering, reworking and replacement of all necessary components to affect the repair.
4. Accurate data entry to document repair work to support business KPIs.
5. Support the Test Engineering function on a variety of products.
6. Develop soldering techniques / methods for complex PCBAs
7. Recommend process improvements to prevent PCB failures and improve business KPIs.
8. Use of various technologies available to aid repair.
9. Highlight potential / existing problem areas to relevant personnel.
10. Support SMT with complex re-processing.
11. Return product to customers upon repair highlighted accordingly.
