Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Art in a school located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join one of our valued schools based in Stevenage. This is a full-time, temporary role with an immediate start, with the possibility of extension and a permanent contract with the school directly. The post is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Responsibilities
* You will be teaching Art across Key Stages 3, 4 and ideally 5, delivering dynamic and inspiring lessons that encourage creativity, experimentation, and self-expression.
* The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the wider creative life of the school.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience teaching Art in the UK to Pupils in Key stages 3-5
* Experience teaching Art at KS3, KS4 and KS5 (applications welcomed from ECTs)
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the creative arts
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A commitment to nurturing creativity and supporting student achievement

Salary
Fringe MPS/UPS - dependent on experience inclusive of 4% uplift.
