Are you a high-achieving graduate from a leading UK university looking to build hands-on experience in education?
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School seeking a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy or child mental health .
The Role:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis across KS1 or KS2
* Working closely with the SENCo and class teacher to implement tailored support strategies
* Assisting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and classroom engagement
* Providing consistent academic and pastoral support throughout the school day
The Ideal Candidate:
* Graduate from a top UK university (Russell Group or equivalent preferred)
* Degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, English, Maths or a related subject
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN and or SEMH (school, tutoring, mentoring, care or youth work)
* Calm, resilient and genuinely passionate about supporting young learners
