Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity?
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!
Each person we support has different support requirements, so your support worker role may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections. Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal assistance and support to individuals to help them achieve their goals and outcomes.
* Assist with aspects of personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support as required.
* Support individuals to expand social networks and connections and engage in meaningful activities and hobbies.
* Work as part of a bespoke team to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.
About the Project and People We Support
The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me. The people we support have varied interests and dreams; they deserve opportunities to pursue them. A career with Enable is rewarding and diverse, and Personal Assistants have the potential to truly bring out the best in the people we support.
