Responsibilities
* To work with the Site FM & other team members, in implementing the maintenance services. These include the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme and reactive maintenance in accordance with the building operating manuals, in compliance with the contract service levels and current regulations.
* Training will be provided on access platforms and water management as a minimum.
* This will be a mobile role
* Carry of day to day monitoring of the water systems within the designated buildings.
* Assist technical staff in carrying out maintenance and repair activities
* Undertake non-technical engineering maintenance tests
* Keep plant and work areas clean and tidy
* Carry out weekly / monthly tasks on water systems to ensure compliance as instructed
* Undertake failsafe & servicing of TMV's
* Carry out clean & disinfection of cold water storage tanks and associated plant
* Knowledge skills & experience
* Demonstrate working experience of HSG274, Approved Code of Practice L8, Health Care Memorandum (HTM)
* Legionella Awareness
* Must come from a strong legionella, water treatment, water hygiene, chemical background
* Plumbing qualifications up to NVQ Level 2 (Desirable)
* Risk Assessor qualifications (Desirable)
Qualifications
* Demonstrate working experience of HSG274, Approved Code of Practice L8, Health Care Memorandum (HTM) and Legionella Awareness
* Must come from a strong legionella, water treatment, water hygiene, chemical background
* Plumbing qualifications up to NVQ Level 2 (Desirable)
* Risk Assessor qualifications (Desirable)
Person specification
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* On some occasions, able to work at height after training
* Must be flexible regarding work times
* Most hold a full UK driving licence
* Punctual on all occasions
