Job Responsibilities
1. Develop customer and market-focused product collections each season aligning with company strategy and brand identity (scarves, hats, sunglasses, belts, jewelry, gifting, etc.)
2. Research trends, materials, trims, and color palettes; design new products incorporating original ideas
3. Identify opportunities for new non-core product ranges to enhance the current offerings
4. Create detailed specifications and technical drawings for new products and developments
5. Collaborate with the buying team to ensure production details meet quality standards
6. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers
7. Produce high-quality work within targets and deadlines
8. Attend trend and material fairs and visit suppliers as needed
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in accessories, jewelry, or soft accessories design
* Passion for fashion with a keen eye for current and upcoming trends
* Creative flair for accessories design
* Understanding of brand building, focusing on trend interpretation within the brand's context
* Confidence in presenting designs both formally and informally
* Practical knowledge of production methods, especially in the Far East
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workload
* Strong team collaboration skills and positive attitude
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
