Main Purpose of Job:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, cheerful person to join our weekend team. You will be required to serve food and beverages whilst providing excellent levels of customer service in the Woodlands Café.
Reporting Responsibility:
Reports to the Park Manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet customers.
* Take orders and upsell where possible.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items and specials.
* Serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
* Prepare food and beverages.
* Provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
* Operate the till system, including inputting orders and processing payments.
* Maintain a clean and tidy environment.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
* Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene procedures.
* Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the line manager.
About The Role
Person Specification
Education and Qualifications:
* Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Hygiene (provided).
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
Experience:
* Previous bar or waiting experience is desirable.
* Previous customer service experience is desirable.
* Experience with till operation and cash handling is desirable.
Skills and Attributes:
* Excellent communication skills.
* High standards of personal presentation.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, using initiative.
* Comfortable working with the public, polite, well-mannered, and able to provide attentive service.
* Friendly, organized, efficient team player with a strong sense of discipline and urgency.
* Observant, practical, approachable, and thorough, with attention to detail, honesty, and professionalism.
* Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
