Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Watford
£36,000 - £40,000 + Package
A respected building services provider is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team on a secure and high-specification site in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer to work in a stable environment with long-term development opportunities and access to specialist training.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across electrical and mechanical systems
* Responding to reactive maintenance requests and fault-finding
* Supporting small project works and system upgrades as required
* Working on electrical distribution, lighting systems, HVAC plant, pumps, motors, and associated building services equipment
* Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activity
* Supporting compliance with health & safety and site-specific procedures
* Participating in the on-call rota and occasional weekend work (as required)
Requirements:
* Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition)
* Proven experience in a multi-skilled building services role
* Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills across electrical and basic mechanical systems
* Previous experience in critical or highly regulated environments is advantageous
Key Details:
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Base Salary: £36,000 - £40,000
* On-Call: £100 per week standby + minimum 4 hours paid per call-out
* Plenty of overtime available
* 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday
* AP training and allowance available for the right candidate
