Job Description

Accounts Receivable Clerk responsibilities:

3. Process and monitor incoming payments to ensure accurate account management.
4. Maintain detailed records of transactions, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date.
5. Prepare and send invoices to clients in line with company standards.
6. Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment queries promptly.
7. Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure consistency and accuracy.
8. Assist in month-end closing activities related to receivables.
9. Collaborate with other members of the accounting and finance team to improve processes.
10. Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding outstanding payments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:

11. Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, ideally within the property industry.
12. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with attention to detail.
13. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
14. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
15. A solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
