Passive Fire Contracts Manager
📍 Chigwell (Office-Based)
💰 £55,000 – £60,000 per annum + Company Vehicle
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Contracts Manager to join a growing and reputable fire protection contractor based in Essex.
This is a key position responsible for managing multiple fire door and fire stopping projects across London and the South East, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and fully compliant with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple passive fire protection contracts from pre-start through to completion
* Oversee fire door installation/remedial works and fire stopping projects
* Ensure all works comply with FIRAS, BM TRADA, and relevant fire safety standards
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Attend client meetings and maintain strong working relationships
* Produce and review RAMS, programmes, and progress reports
* Monitor project performance, budgets, and commercial outcomes
* Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and compliance audits
* Coordinate materials, labour, and logistics
* Ensure all health & safety requirements are met
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within Passive Fire Protection
* Strong knowledge of fire doors and fire stopping systems (essential)
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Good understanding of industry compliance, certifications, and QA processes
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and client-facing ability
* Full UK driving licence
