A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Public Health Practitioner to work with the Public Health Team, Plymouth City Council Council to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities in Plymouth.
You will be supported to complete a fully funded L6 Apprenticeship and study for Public Health degree, linking theory and practice together.
You will work in specified areas of public health and across portfolio areas in line with the learning on the degree programme and the business need.
To carry out this role successfully you will need to have an awareness of public health, a willingness to learn how to help improve public health outcomes for Plymouth’s residents and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated programmes.
You should have experience of team or group working, good interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to work using own initiative with or without close supervision.
