HGV Class 2 Driver – Early Starts – Heathfield
Driver Hire/dh Recruitment (Torbay) is recruiting two Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established client based in Heathfield. You’ll be delivering barrels of cooking oil and collecting used oil from kitchens, pubs, and restaurants across South Devon. This is a physical job with early starts and local routes.
Responsibilities
* Start Time: Usually 5am (sometimes earlier)
* Hours: Monday to Friday, approx. 45–48 hrs per week
* Type of Vehicle: Class 2 (occasional use of 7.5T)
* Job Type: Temp to Perm (through us first, then permanent)
* Workload: Local routes around South Devon (Torquay, Paignton, Plymouth, Totnes, Newton Abbot)
You’ll Need
* HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence
* CPC qualification
* Valid Digi card
* A bit of physical strength — the barrels aren’t feather-light
* A good attitude and some early morning motivation
