About the role: We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3-KS5. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, track student progress, manage behaviour effectively, and contribute to curriculum development. Collaboration with colleagues and a commitment to raising achievement are central to this role.
Key responsibilities:
1. Deliver outstanding English teaching across KS3-KS5
2. Support learners of mixed abilities to achieve their potential
3. Maintain effective behaviour management strategies
4. Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities
5. Work collaboratively within a supportive department
Requirements – The ideal candidate will have:
6. QTS and proven experience teaching English at secondary or FE level
7. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education
8. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills
10. A clear commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
