Responsibilities
Working shifts as a bank registered nurse across wards and departments as part of the multidisciplinary team, in a variety of clinical settings to deliver the highest quality care to our patients, in line with our trust values. As an accountable registered nurse you will be responsible for delivering excellent care to an allocated group of patients, providing total patient care for each clinical area you work on. Clinical duties across a range of clinical settings include acute medical care, managing deteriorating patients, wound management, pain management, diabetes management, health promotion, patient education, complex discharge planning, sepsis treatment, end of life care, dementia and delirium care.

Qualifications and Experience
* First Level Registration (adult)
* 18 months experience as a staff nurse
* Recent clinical experience in General Medical/Surgical and Elderly care settings
* Experience of working within a team
Skills and Personal Qualities
* Knowledge of acutely unwell adult patients
* Interest in learning and developing practical and clinical skills relevant to the specialty
* Good communication skills
* Good customer care understanding
* Knowledge/understanding of basic organisational skills
* Able to work shifts and internal rotation to night duty
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Positive, professional and polite
* Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* IT literate
* Good attendance history

* UK Registration must be current
