A Manufacturing Specialist with a diverse technical background, who is Quality focused, a strategic thinker and possesses strong client engagement skills will join a thriving Technical Consultancy. The Manufacturing Specialist will take responsibility for complex electronic assemblies and mechanical housings, incorporating complex RF systems, from prototype to volume production. Youll grow the manufacturing capability, integrating it into the overall R&D development; driving the manufacturing processes and keeping up to date with the latest technologies; supporting Design for Manufacture and Assembly as well as transfer to manufacture processes for low to mid volume products. The Manufacturing Specialist should bring: A minimum of an Engineering related Degree (Electronics, Mechanical or similar). A good understanding of various manufacturing methods and equipment, particularly in low to mid volume products incorporating complex RF systems. Literacy in electronic and mechanical design and development. Experience of working closely with Clients ideally within a consultancy type environment. Proven experience of working closely with supply chain partners and contract manufacturers. Knowledge of Quality Assurance. Previous experience in Manufacturing Management in an area such as Aerospace, Medical, Electronics, Defence, Automotive and/or Technical Consultancy.
