Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The hours of the role are 30 hours per week, 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operational workflows.
Responsibilities
* Manage and update customer information using CRM software to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Assist with sales administration tasks, including processing orders, quotations, and invoices.
* Support the sales team with administrative duties such as data entry and document management.
* General administrative duties such as answering the telephone and greeting visitors.
* Liaising with the production department for customer delivery status and booking in couriers for UK and International shipments.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good time management skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
